Feature:
This product is equivalent to an infrared electronic switch, when detects obstacles will output low level, normal state output high level This module use three-wire, VCC is power + 5V, OUT is signal output terminal, GND is power negative. The detection range is approximately 1 ~ 30CM (Detection range is related to voltage, current, and the surrounding environment, here only as a reference)
Module debugging process (please see the manual carefully, thank you)
1, First make sure no obstacles in front of the sensor 20cm away. 2, Adjust 502 resistor counterclockwise to the end, be careful not to use excessive force, you may damage the adjustable resistor. 3, Adjust 103 resistor counterclockwise slowly to the end, then slowly rotating clockwise, to see if there is a critical point to make the sensor LED lights brighten, after it lights, counterclockwise adjust the 103 resistance one millimeter back, then here module detects the maximum distance (if you need shorter distance, counterclockwise 103 resistance can be adjusted)
If these actions do not turn on the LED lights, then clockwise adjust the 502 resistance about one millimeter, then tighten around 103 resistor and see if the LED is bright, if not bright, clockwise adjust the 502 resistance about one millimeter, then tighten around 103 resistor and see if the LED is bright, and so forth, until you find the highlights.
4, The sensor face of the object (not for black objects), the distance between the object and the sensor is what you want to measure; the actual detection distance required according to your detection distance adjustment shall prevail.
